Commission Shell Bridal Bouquets
Bespoke seashell bridal bouquets for the modern bride
The Commission Process
How does a custom bouquet process work?
First, we have a thorough email consultation to discuss what you would like for your big day, along with your country and postcode for delivery.
It helps if you have an idea of how many bouquets you would like, along with the colours, size and style you would like. We work together to seamlessly match your bouquet to your flowers and décor, your dress, and your wedding colours or wedding venue, so it is a good idea to have images ready to show me.
Many brides screenshot my previous work and circle their favourite shell flowers or shapes, and share Pinterest boards and wedding dress fitting photos.
From there, you will receive a personalised quote and contract to review. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required to hold your commission spot.
I understand things can change, especially if you are enquiring very far ahead of time. Up until I start working on your bouquet, you have room to make changes to the brief at any time. If there are changes to the pricing based off those changes, this will be discussed at the time.
The Creation Process
How is a seashell bouquet made?
Your bouquet is curated using 100% handcrafted seashell flowers, made entirely by me, in my little studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
I first put together an initial concept bouquet based on our consultation. I send photos and videos, unedited, in clear lighting and against a plain background to give you as close to a real view as possible. You are welcome to request more angles, different lighting, more videos and more photos at any time.
From there, you are able to request changes. I encourage you to have fun with your bouquet! I can fill in spaces, change the position of the flowers, and adjust the shape and density in line with the initial size brief. We continue this process of review and change until you’re 100% happy with your bouquet.
Once you’re happy, you select your handle finish, and I will put the finishing touches on the stems, add the pearl detail and shine finishing spray to the shell flowers, and then bind and secure your handle.
I then put together a concept for your matching boutonniere for approval; always to beautifully match your bouquet, and then put the finishing touches and pin on that, too.
The Shipping Process
Can the bouquets be shipped internationally?
I have safely shipped dozens of bouquets internationally, including within Australia, and to the USA, UK, NZ, Canada, Singapore, Spain, Germany, France and more.
Wedding planning can be stressful. For peace of mind, you are guaranteed on-time and undamaged arrival of your bouquet. In the event your bouquet does not arrive on time or it arrives damaged, you can ship it back to me at my own expense for a full refund.
I aim to have your bouquet delivered to you around 1 month prior to your wedding date. Due to very high demand- with the exception of priority orders- I will begin work on your bouquet according to my workload and when I need to ship it, and not necessarily as soon as you pay your deposit.
It is important that you let me know what date you need to receive your bouquet during the consultation so I can ensure to plan my work around this. This might be different to your wedding date, particularly if you need to travel.
Every bouquet comes in a beautiful gift box, securely wrapped and padded to ensure safe arrival. The gift box is then placed inside a sturdy outer shipping box for additional cushioning.
